A 1 star paddle from Mayor's Mead public slipway. We will meet at 5:30pm for a 6pm launch. The route will be dependent on the conditions, and we will be on the water for approximately 1.5 hours.

About the event
A 1 star paddle which replaces our original plan for Lake Pier on Sunday (due to the weather). Dependent on the weather we will either head up or downstream aiming to be on the water for a maximum of 1.5 hours which will coincide with sunset. If the wind picks up this could become a more challenging paddle.
As we are in Christchurch there will be the opportunity to stop for a drink/something to eat after the paddle if people would like. We will make final arrangements on the day.
The Paddle Leads for this event will be Emma, Charlene and Ben.
