ABOUT THE CLUB
Welcome to SUP New Forest.
We are a club of friendly SUP paddlers enjoying each others company on regular paddles at locations in or around the New Forest.
We are a not for profit group which is born from the success of the paddles organised by "The New Forest Paddle Sports Company".
The group is focused on adult paddlers however minors can join the paddles subject to supervision by a parent or legal guardian (please ask for details).
2023/24 Membership
The new club year starts on 1 May 2023. We have kept the price at £5 and to join all you need to do is complete the Membership Form 2022 (it can be found on the Club Documents page). If you are already a member, please just transfer £5 to the club account using your surname as a reference and email us with any changes to your details. Membership entitles access to the members Facebook page which is restricted to those who have paid their fees. If you are a member and have problems accessing the Facebook page, please drop us an email and we will restore access.
We look forward to seeing you on the water!

SUP New Forest runs guided paddles with an aim to run one a month in a range of different locations. We will also run periodic social events.

Members have access to the regular monthly paddles, the members area of our Facebook page and a 10% discount on tuition at New Forest Paddlesport Co (not to be used in conjunction with other offers)
Appropriate leashes are mandatory for club paddles. For more information on how to choose a leash, please have a look at the linked article:
https://gopaddling.info/stand-up-paddle-board-leashes/
We offer paddlers the opportunity to paddle safely with the club, experience a range of different places to paddle, and meet like minded paddlers. The Facebook site is available for members to arrange their own paddles with other people, get advice and share their paddling experiences.
If you are interested in volunteering to run paddles, or help run the club please let us know. We are currently looking for a new Chairperson. The Chair's role is to Chair Extraordinary General Meetings and Annual General Meetings, to set the direction of the club with the committee, and manage the website/newsletters.
If you are interested in joining, please complete the members form from the Club Documents section of the website and email it to supnewforest@gmail.com. We will then give you the bank details for payment (£5). It would be helpful if you could pay via bank transfer as this helps with our admin.
Once you have become a member you will have access to the Facebook Members Group and website Members Area, where details of all the up and coming paddles will be listed for you to enjoy.
For more info email supnewforest@gmail.com

Paddler Guidelines and the Star Rating System for paddles are available in the Club Documents area of the website. These have been developed as a result of member and paddle lead feedback, and should help members understand how we can all support each other on paddles, and how to decide which paddles are suitable for their level of experience. We hope you find them helpful!
